Citizens West
The Citizens West project is designed to provide the same level of comfort as typical market-rate apartment units while reducing the amount of required infrastructure. Specifically, the project targets water heating and HVAC systems. Centralized commercial-scale water heaters will service clusters of units, creating a system that is both cost-effective and efficient. Totaling 83,310 sqft, Citizens West apartments provides 80 residential units in a mix of studio and 3-bedroom floorplans. Approximately two thirds of the residences are affordable to households ranging from 25%-50% of the area median income. The 1,300 square foot street-front retail space is targeted towards another food use for the Guadalupe neighborhood. This project is a great asset to the community.
